Oranges are probably the most famous of fruits. These citrus fruits have a tough peel, encasing sweet and sour flavours.
Oranges are used in a variety of ways but are most often enjoyed fresh. Contains over 100% of the recommended daily amount of vitamin C. A very good source of potassium and vitamin B9.
Lane Late Variety
This is a late variety of oranges. Large fruit, spherical in shape, with bright orange colour and juicy seedless flesh, with excellent aroma and a peel of medium thickness. It has excellent taste. It is consumed mainly as a table fruit. High resistance to transport and storage. The period when the Lane Late variety thrives is from March to the end of May.
Valencia Variety
Medium-sized fruit, spherical in shape, orange in colour, with flesh particularly succulent, seedless or oligosperm, with excellent aroma and delicate skin. The period when Valencia oranges thrive is from mid-May to the end of September. It has high resistance to transportation and storage.
Newhall Variety
Its fruit is a little smaller than the fruit of the common navel-bearer, long to oval shape. Orange colour of peel, succulent orange to red-coloured flesh of excellent taste. The harvest period is from mid-November to mid-January.
Washington Navel (Merlin) variety
Large fruit, spherical in shape, bright orange colour, with juicy seedless flesh, with excellent aroma and medium to thick peel. It has great resistance to transport and storage, it is a fruit that is easy to clean and is distinguished by its excellent taste and aromas as a table fruit. Harvest period, from mid-January to the end of March.
